about
lyrics: Jack Foster III
music: Jack Foster III, Shelly Berg, Trent Gardner
lyrics
When Shelly plays he's got the faith
to put the world in Heaven
The music flows into his soul
to the joy of all his brethren
The music shines upon his face
'til he's no longer with us
He's somewhere beyond the atmosphere
past the Aurora Borealis.
He's gone to Nirvana in the Notes
He's gone to the ecstacy of harmony
He's gone to somewhere in the zone right now
He's gone.
Shelly's found Nirvana in the Notes
If I could find the place he's found
then I would be in Heaven
To be at one with the Universe
through music without question
Is someplace to aspire to
more grand than any palace
to soar beyond the atmosphere
past the 'roura Borealis

In the wake of buying the Welcome To The Planet I also went for this older "EP" (clocking in on 70 minutes a rather big big EP...) as a final farewell to a very bright bright star that sadly doesn't shine anymore. Carsten Pieper

For me this is an overlooked gem in the catalogue bridging the gap from the early years to their more recent catalogue. If you want your BBT easy on the ear with less progressive elements but just as fantastic vocals and guitar look no further. Merits repeat plays and ideal for listening to on long walks with or without a dog. jpearson98
