Jealousy's a habit, babe;
I owe you twice for mine.
Voodoo spells are hard to break,
tonight you've lonesome eyes.
Tell the truth around your heart
spare me your fix-it plan.
I see through; you've fallen too far
like an hourglass grain of sand
Hell's too small,
so tell the truth.
You can dry your pretty face
on who you should've been
I've had all the drinks you've laced
with meeting your own ends
I don't need your recipe
to read between the lines
I can see more done for me
than you could ever find
It's a mean, mean solar day,
cry out your eyes.
talk 'til your blue.
Did you think I wouldn't say
I don't care why
I don't care who
Did you think I couldn't change
change the things causing me pain
In a mean, mean solar day
One kiss goodbye, be done with you
It's all about what you're without
your merry-go-round goes.
In the wake of buying the Welcome To The Planet I also went for this older "EP" (clocking in on 70 minutes a rather big big EP...) as a final farewell to a very bright bright star that sadly doesn't shine anymore. Carsten Pieper
As a lover of prog for most of my life and as I rapidly reach my 61st year, I am frequently discovering wonderful bands, many of whom have been around for some years but unknown to me. Big Big Train are one of those bands, and I really love the fantastic music they produce. What could be better than a brisk walk through the Welsh countryside in the evening sun accompanied by this excellent band. Martin Smith
